I'm not sure I've experienced a place any more peaceful and spectacular as Monument Valley at daybreak.
Coming home at 5:30 a.m., I got to gaze up at the pairing of the Moon and Venus in the lightening dawn sky, but didn't get to an open (and dark) enough space to spot the International Space Station as it moved across the sky.
There's something special about walking out of the office and standing on the streets of New York "finishing" your day while the majority of the city's residents are just about to start theirs.
